My primary interests concern the foundations of cognitive science and psychology, questions in general philosophy of science and their intersection. I’m particularly interested in investigating constraints that affect the development of scientific theories. Recently, I have also been fascinated by how technology can influence our understanding of traditional philosophical questions such as those in machine ethics and philosophy of mathematics. Before coming to Pittsburgh, I studied physics and philosophy at the University of Bristol.
