I work primarily on philosophy of science and philosophy of physics, particularly chaos theory and statistical mechanics. My dissertation focuses on how to understand the empirical content of chaos theory. My other interests include philosophy of language, logic, metaphysics, and causation.
Before coming to Pitt, I received a M.A. in Philosophy from Northern Illinois University and a B.S. in Finance from Drake University. I am also completing a M.S. in Physics and Astronomy while at Pitt.
