My primary research interests are in the history and philosophy of medicine. I’m most curious about questions in disease classification and diagnosis, and how these areas influence and are influenced by medical language and logic as well as emerging medical record technologies.

After graduating with a BA in History and Philosophy of Science from Pitt in 2020, I spent time working in virtual clinical documentation before returning to join the HPS department as a graduate student in 2021. Previously, I studied classical viola performance at the New England Conservatory in Boston.
